About Us

We’re Simon, Georgiana, and Dollie — the team behind Stamford Holiday Cottages. Simon’s the brains, I’m the frills, and Dollie is chief chicken-keeper and a big part of life here on the farm. It’s very much a team effort.

We moved to Carr’s Lodge Farm in 2019 with a vision: to breathe life back into this beautiful old farmyard and create a place where guests could relax in comfort and style.

​

The first lockdown gave us the time — and motivation — to get started. With the help of brilliant tradespeople and the support of great friends, we’ve been bringing the buildings and land back to life, one project at a time.

Linseed Barn was our first — a spacious two-bedroom conversion, perfect for families, two couples, or friends looking for a countryside escape.

​

Next came The Silos — two original grain silos transformed into a unique and luxurious retreat for two. Peaceful, stylish, and full of character.

​
